"When I go to prison, I always feel at home," Activist Adeyanju Deji says

Activist Adeyanju Deji has stated that when he goes to prison, he always feel at home.

He said this, revealing that when people threaten him with police or arrest, he always laugh so loud, which according to him he enjoys nothing more than that in life.

According to Deji, any activist in Africa that has not gone to prison is either fake, compromised or indirectly working for the government.

He said African leaders are generally uncomfortable with truth and anyone who speaks truth to power must suffer.

Deji said people who wish to arrest him don't need to waste their time, all they have to do is to invite him and he enter the prison voluntarily.

"You don’t even need to waste your time arresting me. Invite me, I will come and enter prison voluntarily," he said.
