Operatives of Kano state police command has arrested 62 suspected thugs in a clearance operations carried out during the last ten days of month of Ramadan (April 21 - May 1).
Command spokesperson, SP Abdullahi Kiyawa disclosed that all suspects of various addresses within the state were arrested with dangerous weapons and robbed and stolen properties.
He stated that the suspects will be charged to court upon completion of an investigation.
In preparation for the coming 2022 Eid El Fitr Sallah Celebrations, Commissioner of police, CP Samaila Dikko warns that anyone found in possession of any weapon during the festive periods will be arrested. He further called on all criminals to repent or leave the state completely.
He urged residents to pray for the State, the nation and report incidences to the nearest Police Station, and not take laws into their hands.
