A federal high court sitting in Kano, has sentenced one Muhammed Idris aged 48 to seven years imprisonment on Monday, May 10, 2022.
Idris was sentenced for human trafficking without an option of fine.
Justice Jane Inyang gave the sentence after Idris pleaded guilty to the charge read against him.
Nuruddeen Hussain, the prosecutor, had earlier told the court that the convict of Bachirawa Quarters in Dala area of Kano State procured the illegal entry of a young girl to Kano.
