Rapper, M.I Abaga has shared his ordeal after being invited to meet Rick Ross, who is currently in Nigeria.
He took to his twitter page, stating that after the invite he requested that he meets the rapper one on one, but was declined.
M.I went further to say that the afrobeats industry doesn't respect Hip Hop, but failed to give reason for his statement, adding that he has accepted this and will continue to make great music for the ones who do care
His tweets reads, "Lastly .. I was invited to meet Rick Ross.. I responded by saying if I could do it one on one. Ofcourse they declined.. the afrobeats industry will not respect Hiphop just because.. that’s fine. Let’s accept it as what it is and make GREAT MUSIC FOR THE ONES who do care
