Oyo state Governor Seyi Makinde has commissioned the Seyi Makinde Innovation and Technology Hub (SMITH) at the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH).
He commissioned the hub on April 23, while attending the university 14th Combined Special Convocation Ceremonies in Ogbomoso.
During the event of the convocation, Makinde congratulated the graduands and charged them to be resilient as they start this new challenging phase of their lives.
He stated that the hub includes new age technological facilities.
Makinde also commissioned the multi-purpose hall built by alumni of LAUTECH.
