CHAMPIONS LEAGUE thriller: City beats Real Madrid 4-3 in first leg

In a thrilling match in yesterday's April 26 Champions League game, Manchester City has beaten Real Madrid 4-3 in the first leg at home, Etihad Stadium.

City had goals coming from players: Kevin De Bruyne, Gabriel Jesus, Phil Foden and Bernardo Silva; while Madrid goals coming from Vinicius Junior and a brace from Karim Benzema, who scored a panenka-style penalty after Aymeric Laporte handled in the box.

City despite winning the game, had missed lots of chances to widen the gap in their favor having being wasteful in front of goal; enabling Madrid to keep to their toes and scoring at any opportunity they get.

City will be heading to Madrid for the second tie of the game, hoping to keep the game in their favor and extend their lead, while Madrid would be looking for a comeback victory to qualify for the final.
