Operatives of Anambra state police command has rescued the woman, who was accused of killing her husband with excessive sex, from an angry mob.
Command spokesperson, DSP Ikenga Tochukwu disclosed that she was rescued on March 12, after the command saw a trending video of where the lady was publicly molested and assaulted on an alleged incident of causing the death of her late husband.
He said further information revealed that the deceased had already been buried before the video started trending.
Tochukwu stated that victim was rescued and taken to hospital to receive medical care.
Commissioner of police, CP Echeng Echeng described the incident as barbaric, stating that one suspect is already in custody.
He ordered immediate study of the video with the aim to identify the suspects, arrest and bring them to book. He also urge members of the public to stop sharing the video in other to protect the dignity of the woman
