Petrol as Souvenir: Lady arraigned on four-count charge at Special Offences court


The lady, Ogbulu Chidimma Pearl, who distributed kegs of petrol as souvenirs at a party held at Havilah Events Centre, Victoria Island, has been arraigned. 

Lagos police command spokesperson, CSP Adekunle Ajisebutu disclosed that the suspect was arraigned on a four-count charge of conduct likely to cause breach of peace, endangering human life by distributing combustible matter in a public gathering, intent to do harm to another and unlawfully carrying on the business of storage and containerising petroleum product without permit. 

Pearl was arraigned at the Special Offences (Mobile) court of Lagos state in the Ikeja Magisterial District, Holden at Oshodi, on March 14, 2022.

The commissioner of police restated that the command is committed to protecting the lives and property. He warned citizens against engaging in acts capable of endangering human lives.
