Nigeria police force has urged Nigerians against putting fake alerts on the Force Rescue Me App.
Force spokesperson, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi stated that this is causing more harm to the system and jeopard.
He announced that in the last 4 days, the NPF has received more than 10,122 fake alerts, which is causing heavy traffic on the system and affecting genuine callers.
Adejobi stated that Force has over 5,000 pending One Time Password (OTP) to process on the app, which is as a result of the unnecessary heavy traffic.
He urged citizens to cooperate with the NPF, by stop sending fake alerts.
