Senator Shehu Sani has stated that Nigerians registering to fight the Russians are taking advantage to escape Nigeria's economic hardship.
Taking to his twitter page, he wrote, "Nigerians registering at the Ukraine embassy in Abuja in the name of fighting the Russians are simply taking advantage of the opportunity to escape the economic hardships in the country.
"They are not different from those crossing the Sahara desert through Libya and to Europe."
