Nigerian international model, Queen Mary has revealed how she suffered from kwashiorkor as a child.
She took to her Instagram page, stating that God has done a wonderful and miraculous thing in her life, transforming her from being a pure water seller, being homeless to an American citizen.
Mary said, "The first picture on this post was what I used to look like at some point of my life when I suffered from the disease called kwashiorkor (which is caused by lack of nutrition), this is a testimony I typed sometime last year (2021) but I never got to post it. I want to use this moment to appreciate God for all he has done in my life and for what he is still doing.
"I don't know where to start, this is tears of joy, it can only be God. I am still in shock, if you know my story you will understand how The God I serve can never and has never failed me, where do I start from?
"I am a child of grace. My life is a testimony. Him alone is God. How can I explain this? From selling pure water on the street of Abuja 2006 and being homeless at some point, to being an American citizen, this God will give you blessings that will shock the nation.
"If God can make a homeless girl from Nigeria to a citizen of America, believe me as I say this, God can do the unthinkable. I am in tears as I write this, tell me why I can't stop crying. Many people will not understand. My story is long I will continue another day.
"I chose to start my year with testimony. Happy New Year lovers."
