The 2022 Oscar has appeared to be more interesting with the recent turn of event of Will Smith slapping Chris Rock.
In what many thought as a joke, Will had slapped Chris for making a joke about his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, being in G. I. Jane because of her shaved head. Will returned to his seat and shouted at Chris, telling him to keep his wife's name out of his fucking mouth.
"Keep my wife's name out of your fucking mouth!" he said.
Smith, who was nominated for the best actor category in his performance in "King Richard", went on to win the award. During his speech, he afterwards apologized to the Academy and his fellow nominees for action.
Jaden, son of Will Smith, backed his father for his action. He took to his twitter page, stating, "And that's how we do it. "
It could be recalled that Pinkett Smith had earlier last year announced to have shaved her hair because of her struggle with alopecia.
