Kogi state Governor Yahaya Bello has condemned the terrorist attack on Abuja-Kaduna train, describing it as barbaric, inhuman and callous.
A statement issued by his chief press secretary, Onogwu Muhammed, revealed that the governor called on security forces to redouble their efforts to dislodge the bandits and criminal elements terrorising people in that part of the country, as well as other part of the country.
Bello, while commiserating with victims of the attack, expressed shock and pain on the unfortunate incident.
He said the new phenomenon of the terrorists shifting their attacks to airport and train station is a wake up call for the security agencies to up game in their strategies in combating the criminal elements who are becoming daring by the day.
The governor however expressed confidence in the capacity of the Nigerian Armed forces and other sister security agencies in defeating the evil forces, urged them not to rest on their oars until the battle is won.
