A Nigerian lawyer, Ani Nnamdi Chris has narrated how he used just a total sum of N20,500 to do his wedding.
Unlike the extravagant way most people use and are expected to use in getting married, Chris took to his twitter handle, narrating that he got married to his wife at the Port Harcourt Marriage Registry.
He said, I paid a statutory fee of N15,500 and additional N5,000 for what the Registrar called "drink money".
Chris noted that he only hosted 10 guests (including his wife and himself) to a beautiful reception at Farrah Coffee Lounge, Port Harcourt.
"To be clear, the guests were immediate family members as I wanted a private wedding," he added.
