Actress Monalisa Stephen has stated that she had tinnitus (ringing in the ear).
She said this on her Instagram story page, stating that it frustrating and have to work twice as hard not to focus on it.
"It really hard. Sometimes I just cry and wish it can go away but it's not going," Monalisa said.
She noted that she is revealing this not to generate pity, but to empower those fighting it.
