British Prime Minister, Boris Johnson has stated how the United Kingdom is supporting Ukraine in the war against Russia.
He said,
1. We have imposed sanctions on President Putin, Sergey Lavrov, five Russian banks, more than 100 companies and oligarchs at the heart of Putin's regime, and Belarus.
2. We have sent military support to the Polish border with Ukraine.
3. We have sent defensive military aid to Ukraine.
4. We trained 22,000 Ukrainian troops through Op Orbital.
5. We offered a full package of support to NATO to strengthen its eastern flank.
6. We are providing £100 million for economic reform and energy independence in Ukraine, and guaranteeing up to $500 million of Develop Bank financing.
7. We convened the joint Expeditionary Force, bringing together members from the EU, NATO and Nordic states.
8. We banned Aeroflot.
9. We are calling for an end to Russian involvement in SWIFT.
