Operatives of Delta state police command has arrested 77 more suspected miscreants with dangerous weapons and illicit drugs.
Command spokesperson, DSP Wasiu Abiodun stated that the suspects were arrested by taskforce team over the weekend from 28th-30th January, 2022 at Tudun-Fulani, Rafin-Yashi, Gbeganu and Soje-A area of Minna in furtherance to the Police effort in sanitizing the city.
He said this is in addition to about 100 hoodlums arrested from Limawa, Anguwar-Daji, Anguwar-Sarki, Abayi-Close, Kwangila, Anguwar-Biri, Anguwar-Kaje, Anguwar-Kadara, New-Market etc.
Abiodun assured the public that the police command will not rest on it oars in ensuring peace and security in the community, encouraging residents to go about their lawful business without fear of molestation, intimidation or harrasment.
