Manchester United footballer, Mason Greenwood has been arrested following assault and rape allegations by his girlfriend Harriet Robson on social media.
His girlfriend on her Instagram page posted photos and videos of the bruises she sustained from him, accusing him of domestic and sexual violence.
Greater Manchester Police confirmed the arrest, stating that he was arrested on suspicion of rape and assault, adding that he remains in custody for questioning and inquires are ongoing.
