The Lagos state Fire and Rescue Service (LFRS) has put out a fire that occurred at their Ajah terminus of the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT).
This was made known in a statement by director, LFRS, Adeseye Margaret stating that the incident happened on Saturday, January 22, 2022.
According to her, the emergency alert which was received at 08:49 hours was promptly attended to by the Lekki Phase 1 Fire Station of the Agency, which on arrival discovered the Fire in a room used as a store for Air Conditioning Compartments in the under -construction building and extinguished it before it could spread beyond the room to cause further damage.
Margaret stated that the firefighting operations did not involve any casualty, and the cause of the fire is being investigated.
