President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed sadness over the tragic boat accident in Bagwai local government area, Kano state.
The accident led to the death of 29 persons.
In a statement on December 1, 2021, senior special assistant to the president, Garba Shehu, stated that the president sympathises with the government and people of the state over the tragic incident.
President Buhari assured the state government of the support of all federal agencies in the state.
He called on citizens to pray for the repose of those lost, and for safety and well-being of all the others.
