Reigning Miss India, Harnaaz Sandhu has been crowned as the Miss Universe 2021, which was held for the first time in the city of Eilat, Israel.
The crown which was competed for by 80 women from around the world, saw its end on Monday December 13, 2021. This is the 70th edition of the annual pageant.
In a speech during the pageant, Sandhu advised people to stop comparing themselves to others, stating that they are unique and that's what makes them beautiful.
She also said that she believed in herself, that's why she is able to be where she is today.
Paraguay's Nadia Ferreira took the first runner-up, while South Africa's Lalela Mswane took the second runner-up.
