Investigative journalist, Kemi Olunloye has stated that late Sylvester Oromoni, a student of Dowen College, had willingly joined the cult.
She noted that contrary to the claims being made online that Sylvester was assaulted by schoolmate, leading to his death. Kemi said he joined willingly.
She said the beating Sylvester got was during the initial process, adding that he also drank engine oil as part of the initiation.
Kemi in an audio interaction on twitter, described Sylvester's action as a result of peer pressure and wanting to belong.
