Kim Kardashian calls for change in Colorado law following sentencing of Rogue Aguilera-Mederost to 110 years in prison

American socialite, Kim Kardashian has called for a change in Colorado law, following the sentencing of Rogue Aguilera-Mederost to 110 years in prison.

Rogue, who is 26-year-old, was sentenced to 110 years in prison for driving a semi-tractor-trailer and crashed into traffic killing four people. The crash was as a result of brakes failure, and not on the influence of any drink or thing.

Reacting to the sentencing, Kim stated that it was unfair and the judicial system of Colorado needs to be changed.

She need that the judge didn't want to sentence Rogue to such lengthy sentence, but was forced to due to the mandatory minimums in Colorado.

Kim while stressing that mandatory minimums take away judicial discretion and needs to end, urged Governor Jared Polis to intercede and do the right thing.

"I pray that Governor Polis, who has been a leader on supporting reforms that increase human dignity in the legal system, will commute his sentence," she said.

The socialite also expressed her disbelief at the prosecutor who made mockery of Rogue after his conviction by posting a photo of a brake shoe trophy she received from a colleague with a plaque.

"Makes me so sick," she added.
