Operatives of Kano state police command has arrested a group of drug dealers with large possession of drugs, on December 20, 2021.
Spokesperson of the command, DSP Abdullahi Kiyawa said that the command has received a report on the activities of the drug dealers, who supplied drugs to thugs and other criminals with the state.
The suspects identified as Rabi'u Idris (aged 22), Abdullahi Muhammad (aged 20) and Sanusi Sani (aged 23), all of Safana LGA, Katsina state, were arrested in possession of large quantity of suspected illicit drugs which include; Tramadol Tablets, Exol Tablets and Diazapham Tabs. Money, Cash, sum of One Hundred and Fifty Thousand, Six Hundred Naira (N150,600:00) in denominations of N50s, N500s and N1000s proceeds from the sale of the illicit drugs were recovered from them.
On preliminary investigation, the suspects confessed to being drug dealers, and supplied the drugs from Onitsha, transport and sell it to Kano state. They further confessed to have confessed to have purposely cane to Kano from Katsina state for illicit drugs business.
Commissioner of Police, Kano State Command, CP Sama’ila Shu’aibu Dikko ordered for discreet investigation.
He further warned off criminals from the state.
