The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has returned a recovered stolen fund of N326,000 to Diemesor Gabriel, a 21-year-old student of Chemical Engineering, University of Benin.
The money which was presented as a bank draft, was given to Gabriel by an Assistant commander of the EFCC, Benin zonal command, Adesola Amusan.
It could he recalled that Gabriel had in September petitioned the Commission over the illegal withdrawal of N326,000 from the N600,000 scholarship grant paid into his account.
In the course of investigation, EFCC arreated three suspects and recovered the said sum
