Bandits has killed over twenty (20) people in an attack on several villages in Giwa local government area.
In a statement signed by commissioner, ministry of internal security and home affairs, Samuel Aruwan disclosed that the bandits attacked Kauran Fawa, Marke and Riheya villages in Idasu, Giwa LGA.
In the attack, houses, trucks and cars were burnt, along with agricultural produce at various farms.
Governor Nasir El-rufai condoled with the families of the victims of the attack while praying for the repose of their souls.
He commisserated with the affected communities and directed the Kaduna State Emergency Management Agency to conduct an urgent assessment of the area towards providing relief.
