Bandits has killed two persons at Kyamara village, Kufana, Kajuru local government area.
Commissioner, ministry of internal security and home affairs, Samuel Aruwan disclosed that security agencies reported that the bandits invaded the village shooting sporadically, killing the two men, Zamani Dogara and Livinus Sunday.
One of the wife of the victim, Grace Livinus, sustained gunshot injuries and was rushed to the hospital for treatment.
Aruwan revealed that in another incident, bandits barricaded the Kaduna-Birnin Gwari road around Zankoro, Chikun LGA and opened fire on commuters, killing two persons and injuring ten.
He said the injured were evacuated to a hospital for medical attention.
Furthermore, Aruwan said three unidentified male corpses were found in the bushes around the Pipeline area along the Kaduna-Abuja road, Kakau, Chikun LGA.
"The corpses - which initial examinations indicate to be the remains of some herders - were blindfolded and bore bullet wounds to the chest and other parts of their bodies.
"From a preliminary report, the herders must have been taken hostage by armed bandits in the general area and summarily executed. The remains have been evacuated to a mortuary while investigations continue," he said.
Governor Nasir El-rufai condoled with the families of the victims, and prayed for the repose of the repose of their souls. He wished the injured victims a speedy recovery.
He directed security agencies to conduct thorough investigations into the discovery of the corpses in Kakau, Chikun LGA.
