The Lagos state police command has conducted an autopsy on the remains of late Sylvester Oromoni, a student of Dowen college.
Spokesperson of the command, Adekunle Ajisebutu disclosed that the results of the autopsy are being awaited, while the body has been returned to the family for burial..
''Sylvester Oromoni: autopsy done. Result is being awaited. Corpse released to family for burial. Investigation ongoing.'' he said
It could be recalled that Sylvester, who died on November 30, was allegedly assaulted by schoolmates, which had raised concerns to ascertain the real cause of his death.
Meanwhile, the school has been shut down by the Lagos state government, pending investigation to ascertain the real cause of Sylvester's death.
