13 thugs arrested vandalizing office of Senator Barau Jibrin in Kano state

Police operatives has arrested 13 suspected thugs in Kano state, on 2nd November, 2021.

This was disclosed by Command public relations officer, DSP Abdullahi Kiyawa, stating that the police had acting on report that the suspected thugs were seen carrying dangerous weapons and vandalizing the office of Senator Barau Jibrin, senator representing Kano north senatorial district along Maiduguri road, Kano.

The following items were recovered from them: 34 dangerous weapons, 23 clubs, 2 gallons of suspected petrol, 1 parcel and 30 pieces of dried leaves suspected to be Indian hemp, 24 sachets of Diazapam tablets, 4 pieces of red sun solution, 1 mobile phone, 2 ceiling fans and bunches of charms.

DSP Kiyawa stated that normalcy has been restored and investigation has commenced, while the suspects will be charged to court for prosecution.

Command, commissioner of police, CP Sama’ila Shu’aibu Dikko said that criminals will have no hiding in the state, advising them to repent of leave the state completely, else face the wrath of the law.
