Pero Adeniyi, babaymama of musician Tuface, has served a laws notice to his wife Annie Idibia over the allegations she made of Tuface coming to America to see he.
In the notice, Pero lawyer's made reference to Annie's out burst on instagram and the audio tapes she released, describing them as false.
Part of the statement reads,
In one of your audio recordings you can be heard falsely accusing our client of having enticed your husband, Mr. Innocent Idibia, to visit her in America, where our client has lived with her children for the past 12 years to your knowledge. Snippets of your statement is reproduced as follows:
"..hello Innobia family, this is Annie.. My husband told me he had a shoot today. Today my husband packed his things, he lied to me that he was going to shoot, but my husband is on his way to America. Innocent is on his say to America without telling me. He is going to see Pero in America and his other kids. I am going right now on Instagram live."
By the literal meaning of the above words in your instagram posts and the statements in the audio recording, which clearly mentions our client and was shared to not just your 7.1 million followers on Instagram, but also reposted by blogs on various other platforms, you inferred and conveyed to your millions of followers and other members of the public that our client (who is not married) and your husband are in an immoral relationship, this portraying our client as an individual with loose morals.
Her lawyers stated that these allegations were false as Tuface didn't visit Pero in America, adding that Pero and her kids has been malicious and defamatory attacks since she (Annie) made the outburst.
Pero has demanded Annie retract her allegations and is demanding the sum of N500,000,000 (five hundred million naira) as damages that she suffered as a result of Annie's outburst.
