President Buhari sympathise with families who lost their loved ones in collapse of 22 storey building in Lagos

President Muhammadu Buhari has sympathised with the families who have lost loved one in the collapse of the 22 storey building in Lagos state. 

A statement released by special adviser to the president, Femi Adesina, stated that the president share in the sad moment with the people and Lagos state government. 

President Buhari urged authorities to step up efforts in the ongoing rescue operations, while emergency institutions including hospitals should provide all necessary support to safeguard the lives of the rescued. 

He also prayed for God's intervention in the ongoing rescue operations. 

It has been reported that about four persons are dead as a result of the collapsed building, and there have been some that were rescued. 

There is no certain number of dead or survival as rescue operations are still ongoing.
