The Inspector General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali has received the High commissioner of the Republic of Zambia to Nigeria, His Excellency Dr. Solomon Jere, at the Force Headquarters, Abuja.
The Force disclosed that the visitor was on a courtesy visit to the IGP as part of ongoing discussions to strengthen bilateral relationship between Nigeria and Zambia, particularly ones touching on policing and internal security.
He commended the efforts of the Nigerian Police Force (NPF) leadership in the area of border security, combating cybercrime, kidnapping and other violent crimes.
