Former presidential aide, Reno Omokri has condemned people who compared Davido's birthday fund solicitation to men of God who solicit for seed (money).
Taking to his verified facebook page, Reno stressed that such people are what is wrong with the church.
According to him, Davido has preached a better sermon than many of these men of God who preach to receive, because he preached by giving.
To buttress his point, Reno quoted the Bible (1 Corinthians 13:2), which says, “If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing.”
And what is Godly love? “For God so loved the world that He gave”-John 3:16.
The former presidential aide added that to love with giving is not love.
