Kaduna state Governor Nasir El-rufai has commisserated with families who lost their loved ones in Chikun and Igadi LGAs following attacks by bandits.
Commissioner, ministry of internal security and home affairs, Samuel Aruwan, revealed that security agencies reported that armed bandits attacked worshippers of Emmanuel Baptist Church, Kakkau Daji in Chikun LGA.
The security agencies revealed that during the attack one worshipper, Yusuf Dauda, was killed, while an unspecified number was kidnapped. One worshipper, Musa Yusuf was injured.
Also, bandits killed one local, Dahiru Sani, at Kangon kadi general area of the same LGA, and one person, Bello Alhaji, at Barebari in Igadi LGA.
Security agencies reported in the same LGA, armed bandits at Sauran Giwa general area killed two persons, Hakilu Umar and Muntari Umar, while they were returning from a religious function.
Governor El-rufai prayed for the repose of their souls and charged security agencies to intensify their efforts in securing lives and properties in the state.
