Following their five (5) goal defeat to Liverpool, Portuguese international and Manchester United forward, Cristiano Ronaldo has stated that their defeat wasn't expected.
He took to his social media channel, stating that the team takes the blame for the disappointing defeat.
Ronaldo also thanked the fans for their support, adding that they deserve better and it is up to the players to deliver.
In his words,
Sometimes the result is not the one we fight for. Sometimes the score is not the one we want. And this is on us, only on us, because there’s no one else to blame.
