Ronaldo supports Jose Semedo on the passing of his wife, Soraia

Portuguese international footballer, Cristiano Ronaldo has supported fellow countryman, Jose Semedo, on the passing of his wife, Soraia. 

Taking to his social media channel, he noted that Soraia was a wonderful mother and wife, and nothing can ease the pain of Semedo and his family. 

Ronaldo expressed that he is saddened by the death, and he as well is facing a difficult time. 

His post reads,

There are times when everything comes to the background, including football. Last week, unexpectedly, a fantastic human being left, our dear Soraia, a wonderful mother and wife to one of the best friends life has given me. Nothing can erase the pain of my brother Jose Semedo and the whole family, but we are together, today as always, in facing this difficult time. Rest in peace my friend We will never forget u [pt_XX]

Soraia was reported to have dead following health complications cause by an infection.
