FC Barcelona striker, Memphis Depay has thanked former coach, Ronald Koeman, for his believe in him.
This comes after Barcelona sacked the coach immediately after he lost to Rayo Vallencano in a league match, after being under fire since past weeks.
Depay noted that he is grateful to Koeman for giving his career a new boost, saying,
I have the upmost respect for you as a coach but even more as a human being
and i hope we will meet again to work together in the future.
Thank you mister.
Before Koeman coached Depay in Barcelona, he had coached him (Depay) in Netherlands national team, at his time there.
