Imo state Governor Hope Uzodinma has approved the appointment of Honourable Justice Theresa Eberechukwu Chukwuemeka-Chikeka as the Acting Chief Judge of the state.
She was sworn-in today, October 21, 2021, and succeeded Justice Ijeoma Aguguo whose tenure elapsed, pending ratification by the National Judicial Council.
Governor Uzodinma stated confidence in the acting chief judge, stating that she would consolidate the state's judiciary system by bringing her wealth of experience and knowledge.
