Kebbi state government has revealed that thirty (30) students of the Federal Government College (FGC) have arrived Birnin Kebbi, the state capital following their release from abductors.
This was disclosed in a statement by special adviser to the governor (media), Yahaya Sarki, revealing that efforts are ongoing to secure the the release of the remaining abducted.
Sarki said that the released students shall undergo medical screening and support while being reunited with their families.
While congratulating President Buhari for the success of their release, the state government thanked all those who assisted in securing the release.
Recall that gunmen had attacked the school, overpowering the security men on guard and kidnapped no less than 90 students and staff.
