Reno Omokri: Poverty is the reason why many people are religious and churchy

Activist Reno Omokri has stated that poverty is the reason why many people are religious and churchy.

He disclosed this taking to a post on his social media page, saying that when such people relocate abroad and see that their prayer requests are easily met in their new locations, they lose their religiosity

The activist noted that religion is a reaction to poverty, but faith is a more reliable judge of Godliness, which is why Jesus Christ taught more about wealth after salvation.

Reno noted that without wealth, one's spiritual health is at risk, and poverty alters your perspective.

He said that this is the reason why people make enemies out of innocent people, and blame the ancestral curses and village people for the cause of their poverty, when in fact the problem is your location, which is overpopulated and underfunded, and fear of enemies, rather than love for God, drives you to church
