President Muhammadu Buhari has condoled with renowned musician, King Sunny Ade over the loss of his wife, Risikat Ajoke Adegeye, who was a member of the 6th Lagos State House of Assembly.
Special adviser to the president (media and publicity), Femi Adesina disclosed this in a statement, stating that the president had also condoled with the Lagos state government, House of Assembly members, her friends and political associates, urging trust in God at the very difficult time.
The president prayed that God grant her husband, family and loved ones comfort, while granting her soul eternal rest.
The death of late Hon. Adegeye was confirmed by Mr. George Folarin Olawande in a statement on Tuesday, September 21, 2021, stating that she passed on after a brief illness during the early hours of that said date.
