Katsina state Governor Aminu Masari has promised to provide COVID-19 vaccines for all National Youths Service Corps (NYSC) members in the state, requesting the Corps secretariat to liase with the state ministry of health for the vaccine.
The governor made this note while receiving the Director General of the Service, Brigadier General Shuaibu Ibrahim, at the government house, in the state.
He assured that his administration would sustain their efforts towards the support for the scheme.
Governor Masari also praised the cordial relationship the state has with the NYSC, thanking the Director General for the visit.
NYSC Director General, Brigadier General Shuaibu Ibrahim thanked the governor for the support, and for the most recent gesture of renovating several blocks of hostels and the skill acquisition centre at the NYSC permanent orientation camp.
He stated that he is committed to further strengthen the cordial relationship between the scheme and the state government.
