Governor Hope Uzodinma has inaugurated the implementation committee for the recommendations on the white paper on lands and related matters.
The committee, which is headed by Prof Ukachukwu Awuzie, and has been charged with the responsibility of recovering all assets belong to the state, as well as any individual listed in the white paper.
This is coming after findings has been made that lands and properties belonging to both government and individuals were either illegally acquired or misappropriated in the past as identified by the judicial commission of inquiry.
