Akwa Ibom state Governor Udom Emmanuel has signed into Law a bill, prohibiting open rearing and grazing of livestock and also provide for the establishment of ranches in the state.
He stated that it is hurtful for a farmer to have his hardwork destroyed, stressing no one should destroy another person's source of survival.
The governor warned that those who destroy the livestock of another person's farm will be made to face the law, no matter how highly placed.
