Governor of Lagos state, H. E. Babajide Sanwo-Olu has approved the appointment of Bolaji Oreagba as the new General Manager of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA).
This was disclosed in a statement signed by Lagos state Head of Service, Hakeem Muri-Okunola, stating that the appointment of Oreagba is immediate and geared towards the continued efficient and effective traffic management on Lagos roads.
HoS Muri-Okunola congratulated the new GM, urging him to justify the state governor's confidence in his appointment, while bringing his wealth of experience to take the Agency to greater height.
He also thanked Governor Sanwo-Olu of his appreciation and gratitude to the outing General Manager, Engr. Olajide Oduyoye, for his commitment, dedication and meritorious service to the State.
Oreagba, a Deputy Controller (Traffic), who joined the state public service on the 8th of December, 1993, and rose through the ranks to the post of the Director of Operations, LASTMA, before his present appointment as General Manager.
He holds a Master’s Degree in Transport Planning & Management and has attended several capacity-building programmes on inter-modal traffic management systems locally and internationally.
