Oyo state Governor Seyi Makinde has presented the proposed 2022 fiscal budget tagged a 'Budget of Growth and Opportunities' to the Oyo state House of Assembly.
He disclosed that the proposed budget is N294.5 billion, adding that for the first time, the state capital budget of N156 billion exceeds the recurrent budget of N138.5 billion.
According to the governor, As with previous budgets, Infrastructure takes the lead in percentage of allocations at 32.83% followed by Education at 18.37%. Healthcare and Agriculture are 5.9% and 3.84% respectively.
