Champions League round off for Tuesday, September 14, 2021

The Champions League group stage games kicks off today, Tuesday, September 14, 2021, and the world of football is excited to see their teams go head to head with rival team in other to win the most desired trophy in club football. 

Here is how the teams of today's match fared, some with a few surprises, others as expected. 

In Group E

FC Barcelona faced Bayern Munich at home, losing 3 goals to nothing. Bayern Munich got goals coming from Thomas Muller and a brace from Robert Lewandoski.

Another team, Dynamo Kiev faced Benfica to a goalless draw.

In Group F

It came as a surprise, when Young Boys got the better-of of Manchester United, who had scored first in the match before getting a red card. Young Boys capitalized on the game and won, by 2 goals to 1. Manchester United got their goal from Cristiano Ronaldo, while Young Boys got goals from Nicolas Ngamaleu and T.Jordan Siebatcheu. Aaron Wan-Bissaka was sent off Manchester United. 

In other match, Villarreal played Atalanta to a 2 - 2 draw. The home team had goals from Manuel Trigueros and Arnuat Danjuma , while Atalanta had goals from Robin Gosens and Remo Freuler.

In Group G

Sevilla faced off FC Salzburg to a 1-1 draw. Both teams got their goals through a spot kick, with Ivan Rakitic scoring for Sevilla and Luca Sucic scoring for Salzburg. 

Lille and Wolfsburg had a goalless draw. 

In Group H

Chelsea beat Zenit St. Petersburg, 1 goal to nothing, with goal from Romelu Lukaku. 

Malmoe FF weren't up to the task as Juventus beat them 3 goals to nothing. Alex Sandro, Paulo Dybala and Alvaro Morata were on target to ensure that Juventus had a fine start.
