Akwa Ibom state Governor Udom Emmanuel has offered his support to the state football team, Akwa United football club, as they commence international campaign.
He watched them at the stadium as they took on the CR Belouizdad of Algeria in the CAF Champions League Preliminary First Leg, which they one with a goal.
The governor stated that the team goal is fixed on the trophy.
Earlier, He had invited the team for prayers at the Government house, Uyo, praying with the clergy to bless them.
