Actress Chioma Ifemeludike blasts politicians who take public funds for personal use

Actress Chioma Ifemeludike has spoken out against politicians, who acquire public funds and use it for their personal benefits.

In an Insta-story, Ifemeludike regarded Nigeria as a society of appearances and show off, in which the common wealth which is meant to service the masses, has become a national pizza for political hoodlums.

She cited an event from the news, stating that a governor of a state gave out bundles of cash to soldiers, which according to her is how politicians treat the country's collective wealth by dishing it out like some souvenir shared at a marriage reception.

According to her, The national cake sometimes packed in 'Ghana must go bags' goes round, from traditional leaders to religious leaders, celebrities etc. The only people not allowed to share from this national cake are the suffering masses!

Ifemeludike stressed that this act mustn't continue, advising leaders to be transparent and account for public funds during their tenure.

She added that showing unaccounted lifestyle and wealth mount undue pressure on young men and women.
