Ghana police has arrested a wanted suspect, Simon Zanya Sandow, for the offence of murder and discharge of firearms in public. The Force in a statement, disclosed that he had earlier reported himself to the Upper East regional police command after he was published in the media. The suspect was subsequently re-arrested and handed over to the Bawku divisional police command and hears been put before the Bawku circuit court for the offences of possession of firearm, discharging gun in town, causing harm and murder. Although he made a plea to the court, which was rejected. Sandow was remanded into custody to reappear on 10th September, 2021. The Force thanked the public for their support and partnering with them in crime fighting.
